Contacting the moderating team

If you need to contact a moderator or simply wish to view the complete administration team, you can click the link 'The moderating team' found at the bottom of the main board page (the first page you see when visiting the board), or from 'My Assistant'.

This list will show you the Administrator and all Moderators of the subforums within Insulin Pump Forums, as well as the subforums that they are responsible for.

If you wish to contact someone about your member account, please first contact the Administrator; if you wish to contact someone about a post or topic, contact a Moderator.

Reporting a post

At Insulin Pump Forums, we strive to maintain a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Every member is required to read the "Rules & Disclaimer" section (the link directly under the forum header on any page) and then abide by those rules. We understand how hard it is to decide whether or not a post deserves reporting, especially with regards to your fellow, active members. Because of this, there is a 'Report' button available on each and every post on the forums (next to the 'Quote' button) which allows you to submit a confidential report to the Moderating Team for any posts that may be inappropriate, spam, flaming, derogatory, etc., and/or which you feel the Team should be aware of. When you report a post, the whole Moderating Team on Insulin Pump Forums assesses the member/post in question to decide on validity and/or action required, and your involvement remains strictly confidential. You are encouraged to use the Report button in any situation in which you feel the Rules of Insulin Pump Forums has been broken, regardless of member status or popularity.

Of course, the Report button should not be abused; please do not use this function to communicate with the Moderating Team. Instead, use the PM or email option.
