Viewing active topics and new posts

You can view which new topics have new replies today by clicking on the 'Today's Active Topics' link found at the bottom of the main board page (the first page you see when visiting the board). You can set your own date criteria, choosing to view all topics with new replies during several date choices. The 'View New Posts' link, in the member bar at the top of each page, will allow you to view all of the topics which have new replies in since your last visit to the board. On the 'View New Posts', you will see an orange box to the left of the topic. If you click on this box, you will be brought to the first unread post in the topic. If you click on the topic title, you will be brought to the first post in the topic. Use the 'Mark All Posts as Read' option at the bottom of the main forum page to clear new posts that you have read. The forum is set up to automatically clear new posts (cookies) when you log out of IPForums after a visit.
