My Pump: Animas Ping

It really wasn't long after I got my pump when the questions of "What is that thing?" Began. I guess we all have to answer them now and then.
I suppose it was 6-8 months went by when I figured "Wow! if people are really clueless, I could tell them whatever I want!

Answers I have given so far:

It's a remote control for my pick up truck!
The very 1st cell phone
Viagra pump
Walkman
Morphine pump

Has anyone else done this or am I just a nut? (I know that answer is yes)

My Pump: mm 522

Last year, I posted a topic about what I did when asked about my pump (mistaken for a pager). Basically, I said the tubing was hooked to my brain and I could watch movies. I found the topic, it is here: Too much fun!

That was funny! I do it also to see peoples reactions. 90% of the time I own up to what it really is but I work it for a few minutes.

i guess it is about the only lighter side of wearing a pump that i know of...

LOL! I'm sure that one gets you some strange looks! The only one I've gotten is "Is it an MP3 player?".
