Last night I did a really stupid thing. Somewhere between the hours of midnight and 3 a.m. I "suspended" my pump - all the while 'I was supposed to be sleeping'. I've had the pump for 18 months and never did this before. I don't know if I rolled over on it and accidentally pressed the buttons - but I am thinking what I did was not very smart. I think now I need to lock the keypad just after I test my BG before going to bed???

That could be a good idea if you push buttons on your pump while sleeping. Maybe you where attempting to cancel a alarm.
Upload your pump and export that days data to Excel it will show you every alarm and button push.

I've done some button pushing on my pump during the night as well and didn't remember a thing the next morning. I've never accidentally pushed buttons by rolling over on the pump or sleeping on it.

I hope your BG wasn't too crazy when you woke up and discovered what happened.

Up to last night I had never pushed buttons (or at least I don't think I did). I will upload and see if I can see the alarms etc. Good suggestion.

Actually my BG was really low at 50 (2.7) and since I have hypo-unawareness I didn't know that until I tested my BG. My Dexcom sensor said 58, but I didn't believe it because my sensor has been wrong before (especially when the sensor itself is going on 18 days).

My Pump: Accu Chek Combo

I tried using the key lock on my pump.
It's so good I struggled immensely trying to unlock it afterwards and then removed it!
If locking your keys gives you peace of mind then go for it!

Maybe you woke during the night because Dexcom alarmed with a low BG, and you suspended the pump without thinking? The Carelink report will show you exactly what time the pump was suspended.

Thanks for the good tip Liz. I looked on the Carelink report and I suspended it at midnight for 20 minutes and then again at 12:20 a.m. for 90 minutes. I sure hope I never do that again.....really weird.
