There is no software to remove from your system it is a web application. The first time you successfully used it
it installed a driver in the registry for the USB device. I would try to upgrade your IE first, if this does not
solve the problem you can use regedit to remove the Medtronic drivers from the registry. Then the next time
you open Carelink...IE will be forced to reload a fresh copy of the USB driver files.

If you go to START, RUN, and type in regedit and push enter this will take you to the registry editor. Go to edit,
find, and type in the word Medtronic and press enter, you will find the files...if you are not experienced using the
registry editor find someone to help you. You can also down load Revo Uninstaller Pro (It's free) this program
will do a better job removing all the registry files.

Good luck

I followed the steps you suggested for using regedit and a lot of addresses came up that had nothing to do with carelink or Medtronic. So being the illiterate computer user that I am, what exactly should I delete? My first inclination is to delete http://carelink.medtrnicdiabetes.com, but is there anything else I should delete?
Thanks so much for taking the time to trying to help me.

Your link is incorrect; it should be http://carelink.medtronicdiabetes.com/ Try removing the USB device and then clicking on the link. Then follow the instructions and wait until you are told to connect the device. The driver should then be downloaded automatically.

I"m an Apple user. I am also a new pumper, 6 days. When I got careLink it told me to call MM. The nice person on the other end told me to plug in the USB connection and it will do the rest. I did and everything works great. I think they finely wrote software for apple. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/Dance.gif)

Carelink has been compatible with the Mac since October or November of 2011. I took a long time but they finally did it.

I was forced to upgrade to Lion because Mobile Me will no longer function after August, no choice but I'm already not happy with the I-Cloud and have never
been a big fan of web based mail...;-(

On the positive side CareLink works with Lion.
