My Pump: MedTronic 722

Awaiting delivery of replacement; under warranty of 723 pump.

Woke-Up yesterday to a blank screen on my 723 pump. Despite changing battery and attempting to reboot of unit after 'time-out' / no battery; unit would not reboot from blank screen.

Attempted to down-load to CareLink; unsuccessful as CareLink could not recognize 723 pump; with and without a battery installed.

Any suggestions as to transfer data? I would like to download pump prior to shipping unit back to manufactor and await report which could take eight weeks. (IMG:http://www.insulinpumpforums.com//style_emoticons/default/knocked%20out.gif)

Sorry Carlos. I don't see any way to get data out of a pump that is so broken that it neither can interface with the carelink software nor display data on its own screen.

The first time I tried to upload my new 722 pump (back in 2008) to Carelink it didn't work. I called Minimed and they said the data in the pump was corrupted and they sent a replacement. The pump itself worked fine, but I couldn't get the data out of it. It was right after I had started using the sensors and had just done a week of basal testing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) I was not happy about losing that data!

I'm constantly having issues with their website accepting the data from my minimed 723. But, I'm done with this pump as it is dangerous and should be removed from the market.

Hello and welcome to our forum.

I'm surprised you feel that the Medtronic pump is dangerous. There are more pumpers using Medtronic pumps than any other pump manufacturer.

I and many other members of this forum have been pumping with Medtronic for over 15 years.

You have not told us about yourself. Is the Revel your first pump?

Linda B.

That's scary. Did you try more than one battery? Were your blood sugars high when you woke up?

Ooops. I guess I noticed the two in the thread that were dated today and I went to the beginning of the thread. Sorry about that.
