I just came up with this link for a free cable to fit the One Touch meters. I'm sure that it is for a "limited time". https://www.onetouchzoom.com/cables

In Canada, as far as I can tell, the USB cable is only available from LifeScan at a cost of $39.99. (Sorry, no information regarding the rest of the world). |

What is OneTouch Zoom? It appears that Lifescan has teamed with Microsoft to allow you to upload your meter readings directly to MS's new 'HealthVault' site. This appears to be another thing that MS has ripped off. Google started something similar a couple of years ago. You can maintain your medical records for a number of conditions online. Lifescan has apparently made it possible to directly upload your readings to the MS site. This is all guesswork on my part, but I suspect I'm fairly right. You first have to have a MS Live account, but that's pretty simple. I won't be doing it just on general principle. Tom |

Don't know if I'm ready to have Microsoft know everything about my health, too!
